Church Family,
As you finish up this day of Christmas, here are a few pictures from our recent Christmas Party to highlight the family bond we share (and to make you smile). The reason we are bonded together in love is not because of silly games like this; it is because of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yet, because of Christ, we find ourselves in family fellowship that includes times of laughter and rejoicing.
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Romans 12:15
I am so thankful that all whom the Lord has brought into our church are welcome and encouraged to worship, serve, fellowship, and even laugh together. The Lord is so gracious to give us all family through His church. As you continue to enjoy this day, please take some time to think about and pray for others in our church family.
Most importantly, may we give God praise as we worship and obey the Lord Jesus Christ today.... and every day. The majority and priority of our time together is all centered around Christ and His gospel to the glory of God, for He is worthy!
To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. Romans 16:27
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
